Case study: Miami Book Fair
Mochee was chosen to be the Social Agency of the largest book fair in North America, the Miami Book Fair, in 2014 for their 30th-anniversary campaign. Within the first event season, Mochee was able to double the Fair’s social media following and magnify its message to receive 150 million impressions across its multiple platforms. Mochee is going on its 6th consecutive year working with the Fair, which has expanded its year-round programming to include writing workshops, children’s reading circles, spoken word performances, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author events. Mochee has activated Instagram takeovers and Twitter chats with internationally acclaimed authors like Salman Rushdie in coordination with top media including Slate, Miami New Times, and PBS. In 2017, Mochee launched the“Between the Books” campaign centered around Facebook Live mini-interviews with authors including Trevor Noah, Eva Chen, and Bernie Sanders, to name a few. With over 100k fans and followers, Miami Book Fair’s social media presence is the strongest in the literary festival world.
